Guranse Tea Estate invites you to experience premium Nepal organic tea, crafted from the lush hills of Hile, Dhankuta, in Eastern Nepal.
The Guranse Tea Estate factory was established in 1998, however the plantation was started in 1995.
The name Guranse is the local Nepali term for the Rhododendron, a flower that is abundant in the region and also serves as Nepal’s national flower, commonly known as Laliguranse.
Guranse makes Oolong tea, White teas, Green teas, Hand rolled teas, Red teas and fine orthodox Black teas.
95 % of Guranse Tea’s workers are women.
Guranse Tea funds worker’s children's education and village teacher’s salaries.
Guranse Tea supports a local elderly home with meals, rations, and blankets.
